Writer, Speaker, Educator
Helping educators see the whole child
I believe we all have the power to make a difference. As a speech-language pathologist, I help students find their voices. As a writer and speaker, I use mine to educate, inspire, and empower others through stories, research, and reflection.

I have 29 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist working with children from birth through 18 years. Much of that time has been spent working with students with emotional disabilities.
I incorporate my rich experiences with students into my writing and teaching about leadership, mentoring, and trauma-informed educational practices

My first book, More Than a Goal: Seeing Beyond Behaviors, will be released in the spring of 2027.
“As a fellow speech-language pathologist, I found this book both affirming and essential. It reminds us to look beyond surface-level challenges and truly see our students for who they are and who they are becoming.”
